Travel Notes:
Kip Marina is located in the charming village of Inverkip, offering excellent transport links by both rail and road. We highly recommend arriving by train, as Inverkip is just a 5-7 minute downhill walk from the station. If you’d prefer to drive, the marina provides plenty of parking spaces, and there are convenient EV charge points available, both within the marina and in the village of Inverkip.
Kirkcudbright is nestled in the picturesque heart of Dumfries and Galloway, and primarily served by bus connections to Dumfries and Stranraer, both of which have onward train services to further destinations. We also offer the option of arranging shared transport from Kirkcudbright to Inverkip, where you can join the yacht at Kip.
Oban is easily accessible by both rail and road, but we highly recommend the train journey from Glasgow. It offers views of some of Scotland's most stunning scenery, winding through picturesque lochs and mountains. For those driving, parking is available at various locations in Oban, and you can conveniently book a space online in advance.
