Looking for a little bit more?

Join us for a bucket list adventure, something that goes beyond day sailing! Start your trip off with training and familiarisation on our round the world racer. It won't take long to settle in. Once watches are allocated and the voyage starts you can expect to be as involved as you are comfortable with. Our offshore routes normally result in some portion of the voyage running a watch system. With helming, navigation, trimming and, of course, “Tea and Biscuits” there is plenty to do during a watch! With our onboard team taking care of everything you really do get the change to get what you want from your time on Taeping.

We take care of all the planning so you just need to turn up, settle in and go! With our offshore voyages normally involving overnight or longer passage sails you can expect to experience a little more of what life is like on an ocean racer. Night sailing holds some of the most rewarding moments on the ocean. A star filled sky, pitch black sailing or moonlight passages inspire and reward. Of course, making landfall after achieving hundreds or even thousands of miles at sea is, in itself, a great feeling.

Our offshore voyages may, depending on distances, allow up to two crew to undertake their RYA Ocean qualifying passage. If you want to know more about the requirements for the qualifying passage follow the link below to the RYA website. *Note Ocean Sailing Scotland are not responsible for the content of external websites.

Iceland’s north coast

The north coast of Iceland holds a special place for many an explorer. Our Arctic Circle and Faroes challenge starts in the amazing north coast Icelandic town of Akureyri, with direct airport access from the Icelandic capital Rekjavik with it’s international connections.
