This time it was the turn of the main, it’s cover and Yankee One Sails to get packaged up and sent off for service/repair

It’s Refit Time!
Probably the easiest bit of mast hardware to get off, the vang (or kicker) comes off ready for service and replacement of it’s rope.
Bye Bye Boom
Preparing for the mast coming off our team lowered the boom to deck level, meaning less to do when we unstep the mast!
Some lovely late Autumn (or early winter) serenity at the marina just before sunset.
With lots of weight removed, especially the Anchor and chain the bow sits quite a bit higher in the water.
Always a big job, getting the mainsail off and folded ready for dispatch to the sail-makers for checking
