The Whisky Trail 2019
Event ID: May0619TC
Skipper (Subject to change): To Be Confirmed
Event Type: Public Event, “Open to All”
Event Class: Cruise (Day Sailing with overnight stops)
Join us as we engage on one of Scotland’s best trails, the Whisky Trail. This year we will explore the southernmost of the island trail. Setting off from our home port of Inverkip after initial safety and welcome briefings we will have time for some sail training on the water as we head out for day one. With distilleries at Arran and Campbeltown our trail will begin. Of course, no sailing adventure would be complete without some sailing ticks in the boxes. As we head towards the isles of Islay and Jura and our next stops on the Whisky trail we will round the famous mull of Kintyre.
After taking a few days to explore Islay and Jura it will be time for our next tick in the sailing box as we head North and pass the famous Corryvreckan before passing through the sound of Luing on our way to Oban and the last stop on our trail.
