Keeping every part of the first Clipper 60 yacht in top condition means using every means at your disposal. So, it was off to the bath for our horse shoe liferings.
Before being bathed they were stripped down with their drogue chutes and grab cords steeped in fresh water before being washed and dried.
Giving the horse shoe rings a good fresh water soak was a bit of a challenge, but at least they passed the "flotation test". A got soapy wash later and it's off to the drying room.
Once fully dried, checked over and put back together again we will have another tick in the to-do list!
Helpers always welcome to come along and keep our Clipper 60 in tip top condition. Find out more by clicking here.
